Oscar is an Accountant from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. He is a specialist in Tax Sciences from Universidad Central and holds a Diploma in Colombian Tax Regime and Customs Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
From 2007 to 2018 he was a member of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, performing different consultancies in customs, foreign exchange and tax matters in all sectors.
Since 2013 he has been leading the international exchange area of PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal and Tax Services, participating in different audits, consultancies and projects related to customs, exchange and tax issues.
MAURICIO CARVAJAL CÓRDOBA

Mauricio is a Lawyer (Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia) and Accountant (Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana), Specialist in Tax Management (Universidad de Antioquia), Specialist in Tax Law (Universidad Javeriana, Colombia), Diploma in International Taxation (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain). He studied LL.M. in International Economic Law (University of Warwick, United Kingdom), where he took the renowned course on Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements by Professor David Salter.
In the past he was part of the internal team of different entities, such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Grupo Bancolombia, Fiduciaria Bogotá, Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and the Medellín Chamber of Commerce.
He currently advises companies in different sectors, including manufacturing industries, commerce, software, technology, aviation, construction, solidarity sector, among others. He is a member of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law.
He frequently publishes articles and tax analysis in blogs and specialized magazines.
TOMÁS BARRETO RAMÍREZ

Mr. Tomás holds a law degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia; a specialization in Private Economic Law from the same University; a specialization in Financial Law from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario and a specialization in Tax Law and International Tax Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
He has more than 25 years of experience in customs and foreign trade matters and has provided advisory services in these matters to different private entities in different types of industries.
He worked at the Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales as a lawyer in the Fiscalization, Foreign Trade and Legal offices and in the private sector at the firms PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte & Touche where he provided customs advisory services to clients in sectors such as manufacturing, oil and mining, public utilities, pharmaceutical, health, retail, among others.
He has taught in different university chairs and lectured in postgraduate courses, master's degrees and business forums on customs and foreign exchange issues. He has authored several articles in magazines and books such as "La Valoración Aduanera en Colombia" published by Legis, was co-director of the publication "Comentarios a la Nueva Regulación Aduanera" published by the Instituto Colombiano de Derecho Tributario y Aduanero and is a columnist in the business magazine Latinpyme.
