Branches of foreign companies belonging to the special foreign exchange regime for hydrocarbons and mining must carry out, no later than June 30, 2026<\/strong>, the annual update of the equity accounts corresponding to the foreign capital investment registered with the Banco de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the applicable foreign exchange regulations, this obligation is fulfilled through the electronic transmission of the Equity Reconciliation \u2013 Special Regime<\/strong> through the Foreign Exchange Information System, using as a basis the financial information corresponding to the accounting close of December 31 of the previous year.<\/p>\n

Who must comply with this obligation?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The update applies to branches of foreign companies subject to the special foreign exchange regime for hydrocarbons and mining that maintain foreign investment registrations with the Banco de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n
